1. Purpose of Field Operations & Data Capture

The CLRW Field Operations Portal is utilized exclusively by authorized water meter readers to capture physical water dial imagery, verify OCR calculations, record consumer meter coordinates, and upload verified readings to the central utility ledger.

2. Personal & Photographic Information Collected

• Meter Dial Imagery: High-resolution photographs of consumer water meters captured on-site during scheduled reading cycles.
• Field Telemetry & Timestamps: Precise timestamp logs, reader ID badges, and zone route assignments.
• Subscriber Identifier Reference: Account numbers and meter serial numbers verified on the field.

3. Offline Data Security & Integrity

When operating in low-connectivity areas, cached meter records are stored securely within the local browser sandbox and synced to the secure CLRW database immediately upon restoring internet connectivity.
